The invention discloses a positioning method for an embedded foundation bolt of a steel structure stand column. The problem that the positioning precision is low when the foundation bolt is embedded on a cast-in-place concrete foundation is solved. Comprising a concrete foundation pit (7) and a rectangular frame (1) made of flat steel plates, and a steel bar net rack (10) is arranged in the concrete foundation pit; foundation bolt penetrating through holes (3) are formed in the four top corners of the rectangular frame (1), embedded foundation bolts (2) are connected in the foundation bolt penetrating through holes (3) in a penetrating mode, lower locking nuts (5) are connected to the embedded foundation bolts (2) below the rectangular frame (1) in a threaded mode, and upper locking nuts (4) are connected to the embedded foundation bolts above the rectangular frame in a threaded mode. The rectangular frame is horizontally arranged right above a steel bar net rack (10), and the lower locking nut is welded and connected with a top steel bar on the steel bar net rack; and the positioning and mounting efficiency of the embedded foundation bolt is greatly improved.
