The invention discloses a high-rise cantilever support and an erecting method, and the erecting method comprises the following steps: step 1, taking a floor slab of the next layer of a main floor slab as a main supporting surface, and erecting an inner supporting frame on the main supporting surface, the inner supporting frame being used for supporting a main floor slab template; 2, an overhanging supporting frame is erected below the overhanging position, and the overhanging supporting frame is used for supporting the overhanging formwork; 3, the outer protection frame extends upwards till the upper end of the outer protection frame is higher than the upper portion of the cantilever; and 4, a plurality of inclined supporting column sets are additionally arranged on the edge, close to the cantilever, of the main supporting face, the inclined supporting column sets are distributed at the edge of the main supporting face in the length direction of the cantilever at intervals, and the upper end of each inclined supporting column set abuts against the lower end of the cantilever formwork. The overhanging formwork is reinforced and supported by directly building the overhanging supporting frame below the overhanging formwork and arranging the shoe supporting column sets, so that the supporting effect of the overhanging formwork is good, and the bearing capacity and the safety performance are both improved.
