The invention relates to a rigidity damping intervention type vibration suppression device which comprises a plurality of upper toothed plates and a plurality of lower toothed plates, the upper toothed plates are arranged at intervals in the length direction of a steel rail and connected to the bottom face of the rail bottom of the steel rail, the lower toothed plates are connected to the top face of a bottom plate, and the upper toothed plates and the lower toothed plates are arranged in a staggered mode. A deformation block is connected between the adjacent side wall of the upper toothed plate and the side wall of the lower toothed plate and is an elastic material component, gaps are formed between the top face of the lower toothed plate and the bottom face of the steel rail and between the top face of the deformation block and the bottom face of the steel rail, gaps are formed between the bottom face of the upper toothed plate and the bottom face of the deformation block and the top face of the bottom plate, and the gaps meet the shearing deformation space of the deformation block. The bottom plate is used for being connected to a rail bearing component. When a train passes, the steel rail generates vertical and transverse displacement, so that the upper toothed plate and the lower toothed plate generate relative shearing dislocation in the vertical direction or the transverse direction, in the process, the deformation block is driven by dislocation of the upper toothed plate and the lower toothed plate, shearing deformation occurs, damping for restraining vibration of the steel rail is generated, vibration energy is consumed, and therefore the stability of the steel rail is improved.
