The invention relates to an erecting method for catwalk bearing cables of an oil and gas pipeline suspension bridge. A first guide connecting device is arranged at a bridge head; a side span bearing cable is used, a first fixing device at the top of a branch tower adjacent to the bridge head is connected with a first guide connecting device on the bridge head, and then side span rope winding is conducted; a mid-span bearing cable is used, the first fixing devices and the second guide connecting devices on the tops of the two adjacent branch towers are connected, and then mid-span rope winding is conducted; during side span rope winding and middle span rope winding, one end of the side span bearing cable is connected with the first fixing device, and the other end of the side span bearing cable penetrates through the first guide connecting device; one end of the mid-span bearing cable is connected with the first fixing device, the other end of the mid-span bearing cable penetrates through the second guide connecting device, and then through cooperation of the chain hoist, the long auxiliary rope and the short auxiliary rope, the rope is pulled and collected multiple times, so that erection is completed on the oil and gas pipeline suspension cable crossing bridge with small dead load, narrow bridge floor and large flexibility. The problems of land occupation and impact caused by arrangement of a winch are solved.
