The invention discloses a boulder treatment method for large open caisson construction in a quicksand stratum, and relates to the technical field of open caisson installation. Comprising the steps that (1) a site is leveled according to a design drawing, and before the open caisson shaft is constructed, the central axis of the open caisson shaft serves as the circle center, and a guide circle line with the diameter 4 m larger than that of the open caisson shaft is measured and marked; mounting the steel sheet piles according to the guide ring line; (2) an open caisson shaft is placed, and the perpendicularity and levelness of the open caisson shaft are measured; sequentially constructing and mounting partition walls and cross beams after the standard is met; (3) a positioning wall is constructed on the outer side of the open caisson shaft, a release agent or isolation cloth is painted, and a formwork is arranged on the outer side and tightly attached to the open caisson shaft construction positioning wall; and 4) symmetrically constructing four buttress walls on the periphery of the open caisson shaft, simultaneously constructing the positioning wall and the buttress walls, then digging out large boulders, backfilling earthwork, and sinking the open caisson. The technical problem that when a large open caisson is constructed along a river sand stratum, the open caisson is prevented from deviating when many large boulders are blasted or broken in the sinking process is solved.
