Tightening a nut at the tensioning end of the new suspender, installing a damper and a waterproof cover of the suspender on the bridge floor, and remeasuring the elevation of the bridge floor. By means of the method, the bearing capacity of the temporary suspender system meets the safety requirement of a temporary structure in the bridge suspender replacement process, tensioning of the temporary suspender system meets the requirement that bridge deck deformation is controlled within 5 mm, and temporary facilities and structures are always in a safe state in the suspender replacement process; the elevation and tension of the cross beam before and after the suspender is replaced meet the requirements of design regulations.
