The invention relates to the field of bridge suspender construction, and particularly discloses a large-span basket arch bridge suspender installation construction method which comprises the following steps: S1, carrying out preparation work before construction; step S2, mounting a suspender, which mainly comprises the following steps: step S21, hoisting the suspender to a corresponding position of an arch rib; s22, a hoisting machine penetrates through a preset hole in the arch rib to enable a hoisting rod to penetrate through a tower end embedded pipe, and a tower end nut is installed; s23, a pin shaft is installed at the lower end of the hanging rod; s3, arch end tensioning equipment is installed, debugged and checked, then symmetrical tensioning is conducted in batches according to requirements, and fastening nuts are tightened after the arch end tensioning equipment is tensioned to the designed cable force; and S4, the step S3 is repeated until tensioning of all the suspenders is completed. The hoisting rod is hoisted by the winch, so that the hoisting device is more convenient to mount and arrange; meanwhile, by adopting the hoisting mode of the winch, the cost is better reduced, and the economy is saved.
