The invention discloses a modification method and application of a high-volume-stability steel slag material, firstly, kaolin tailings are crushed and sieved into powder, secondly, the kaolin tailings, ethylene glycol, limestone powder, a water glass solution and the steel slag material are mixed through a two-stage dry barreling process and are subjected to a full composite reaction, and the high-volume-stability steel slag material is obtained. The content of free calcium oxide on the surface of the steel slag is reduced, the volume stability of the steel slag is improved, and the mass ratios of the kaolin tailings, the ethylene glycol, the limestone powder and the water glass solution in the steel slag material are 2-4%, 5-8%, 3-5% and 0.5-1% respectively. The process method provided by the invention is simple and feasible, the cost of the modified material is low, the content of free calcium oxide on the surface of the steel slag is remarkably reduced, the volume stability of the steel slag is greatly improved, the application of the steel slag in the aspect of aggregate for asphalt concrete is met, and a new solution is provided for resource utilization of non-metallic ores.
本发明公开了一种高体积安定性钢渣料的改性方法及其应用,首先将高岭土尾矿破碎过筛成粉,其次通过二段干法滚磨的工艺将高岭土尾矿、乙二醇、石灰石粉、水玻璃溶液与钢渣料进行混合并充分复合反应,使钢渣表面的游离氧化钙成分含量减少,提高钢渣的体积安定性,高岭土尾矿、乙二醇、石灰石粉、水玻璃溶液在钢渣料中的质量占比分别为2~4%、5~8%、3~5%、0.5~1%。本发明涉及的工艺方法简单可行,改性料成本低廉,显著降低了钢渣表面游离氧化钙的含量,大幅提高了钢渣的体积安定性,不但满足了钢渣在沥青混凝土用集料方面的应用,还为非金属矿的资源化利用提供新的解决途径。
