The invention belongs to the technical field of ladle castable, and discloses a long-life ladle castable which comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 10-30% of flint clay or M47 mullite with the particle size of 6-3mm; 20%-40% of flint clay or M47 mullite with a particle size of 3-1 mm; 10%-30% of flint clay, M47 mullite or silicon carbide with the particle size of 1-0 mm; 10%-20% of fine powder; 5%-10% of micro powder; 5% to 10% of aluminate cement; the fine powder is composed of one or more of quartz powder, silicon carbide powder, mullite powder and bauxite powder; the micro powder is composed of one or more of silicon dioxide micro powder and nano andalusite micro powder; the raw materials at least comprise M47 mullite. The M47 mullite is used for replacing part of flint clay, so that the thermal shock resistance of the material is improved, the thermal conductivity of the material is reduced, the sintering strength of the material is improved, and the performance of the castable is more stable. The andalusite micro powder is added to replace boron carbide, so that the anti-oxidation performance of the castable is improved, and the cost of the castable is reduced.
