The invention belongs to the field of steel box girder installation, and particularly relates to a steel box girder positioning and splicing device which comprises a base. The top of the base is rotationally connected with an adjusting seat; the top of the adjusting seat is rotationally connected with two pairs of driving wheels; the end part of the driving wheel is fixedly connected with a driven gear; the side face of the adjusting base is fixedly connected with a gear motor. An output shaft of the gear motor is fixedly connected with a driving gear; chains are installed on the driving gear and the driven gear, the gear motor controls the driving wheel to rotate so as to drive the steel box girder to be spliced, meanwhile, the lifting hydraulic cylinder jacks up the steel box girder, then the servo motor works to enable the adjusting base to rotate, and the driving wheel can transversely adjust the steel box girder. The gear motor drives the driving wheel to control and adjust the position of the steel box girder, so that a worker can conveniently adjust and splice the steel box girder, and meanwhile, the worker can operate on the ground, so that the aloft work is reduced, and the danger is reduced.
