The invention discloses a combined type steel structure supporting device and a construction method thereof. The combined type steel structure supporting device comprises a supporting column assembly, a padstone and a directional support assembly. The directional support assembly is composed of an upper base plate, a lower base plate and a middle elastic support, and the middle elastic support is a clamping plate type rubber support. The height of the supporting column assembly can be adjusted, the supporting column assembly is arranged on a construction face, the padstone is arranged at the top end of the supporting column assembly, and the directional support assembly is arranged between the padstone and a beam plate. The post-cast strip is allowed to deform slightly in the supporting process through the directional support assembly and the padstone, and the cracking and leakage risks of the post-cast strip in the later period are reduced.
