The invention discloses a carbon sequestration aerated concrete wall material product based on nickel slag and concrete tail slurry and a preparation method. The carbon sequestration aerated concrete wall material product comprises the nickel slag, the concrete tail slurry, gypsum, cement, lime, aluminum powder paste and a nucleating agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing the nickel slag, the concrete tail slurry and the gypsum, adding the cement and the lime, stirring, finally adding the aluminum powder paste and the nucleating agent, stirring to obtain mixed slurry, performing film injection, curing and demolding to obtain a green body, and performing carbonization curing. According to the invention, the nickel slag and the concrete tail slurry are applied to the aerated concrete wall material product, and a carbonization curing process is combined, so that on the basis that the nickel slag and the concrete tail slurry provide part of siliceous raw materials and calcium raw materials, a large amount of low-activity minerals such as silicate and aluminate in the nickel slag and the concrete tail slurry can be fully excited; and under the induction of the nucleating agent, the CO2 is promoted to generate CaCO3 and SiO2 colloids with calcium silicate components in the nickel slag and the concrete tail slurry, so that reaction conditions are provided for the formation of tobermorite.
