The invention discloses a roller shutter with a tensioning device. The roller shutter comprises a power source, a rolling shaft, a shutter material, a length limiting positioning piece and the tensioning device. The length limiting positioning piece is used for limiting the unwinding length of the curtain material and comprises a positioning roller; the tensioning device comprises a transmission part and a transmission wheel assembly. The transmission wheel assembly comprises a transmission wheel; the transmission part is annular and surrounds the transmission wheel and the positioning roller; the power source is in transmission connection with the reel, and the reel is connected with the transmission part through the transmission wheel assembly, so that the transmission part can rotate along with the reel; and the reel is also connected with a transmission piece through a curtain material. In the unwinding process, curtain materials can be kept tensioned, flat and free of drooping, and the roller shutter unwinding device can be widely applied to various scenes where roller shutters are installed on the top face, the inclined face and the vertical face and need to be inversely installed.
