The invention discloses a connecting air supply device and a mounting air supply method for a pipeline in a main cable. The connecting device comprises a fixed connecting cable strand, a cable strand anchor head, an adjusting device, an air cavity and a hollow spiral connector used for being communicated with the pipeline in the main cable. The fixed connection cable strand is installed in the cable saddle, the part, extending out of the cable saddle, of the fixed connection cable strand is connected with the cable strand anchor head, the cable strand anchor head is connected with the closed end of the air cavity through the length-adjustable adjusting device, and the open end of the air cavity is connected with the hollow spiral connector. The air cavity is connected with an air source through the branch air pipe so that air in the air source can flow into a pipeline in the main cable from the open end of the hollow spiral connector. Air is supplied to the pipeline in the main cable, reliable connection with a bridge main body structure is guaranteed, the device can adapt to deformation of the main cable, errors during installation can be eliminated, and the accuracy of the installation position of the connecting device is guaranteed.
