The invention relates to composition, preparation and application of a retarder for ultrahigh-temperature well cementation and well cementation cement paste. The synthetic monomers of the high-temperature retarder comprise 2-propenylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS), acrylic acid (AA), N, N-dimethylacrylamide (DMAA) and vinyl phosphonic acid (VPA). The high-temperature retarder comprises a constitutional unit A as shown in a formula 1, a constitutional unit B as shown in a formula 2, a constitutional unit C as shown in a formula 3 and a constitutional unit D as shown in a formula 4. The ultrahigh-temperature retarder is stable in chemical performance, can resist the temperature of 250 DEG C, has the high-temperature-resistant characteristic, does not affect the sedimentation stability of cement paste at the high temperature, can remarkably prolong the thickening time of the cement paste at the high temperature, and has high early strength at the low temperature; and the problem that the retarding effect is reduced due to serious sedimentation of cement slurry at high temperature is effectively solved, and the well cementation construction quality and safety can be guaranteed. # imgabs0 #
