The invention discloses lightweight concrete without alkali aggregate reaction as well as a preparation method and application of the lightweight concrete. The lightweight concrete comprises the following components in parts by weight: 40-50 parts of perlite; 750 to 850 parts of zeolite; 210 to 230 parts of cement; 100 to 120 parts of metakaolin; 7-8 parts of a water reducing agent; and 155 to 165 parts of water. The alkali-free aggregate reaction lightweight concrete is prepared by using the perlite fine aggregate with high alkali activity and the zeolite coarse aggregate without alkali activity and doping the metakaolin into the cement. While the concrete is lightened, the high-alkali active aggregate is introduced into an aggregate system.
