The invention relates to the technical field of port construction, and particularly discloses a concrete crack control method which is used for the construction process of a dock breast wall structure, and a breast wall comprises a wall body used for ship berthing and a surface layer needing to bear loads. The method specifically comprises the following steps that a wall body and a surface layer serve as two independent structures and are subjected to reinforcement according to design requirements, and a reinforced concrete plate of an upper-lower-layer reinforcement structure is actually formed on a breast wall; a template is built on the foundation; watering to wet the template and the reinforcing steel bars, and starting to pour concrete after the water on the template and the reinforcing steel bars is fully dispersed; layered pouring is carried out, and secondary vibration is carried out when a surface layer is poured; screeding operation is carried out before initial setting of the concrete; the expansion joint is constructed and filled with an expansion joint filling material; and curing the concrete. According to the concrete crack control method, cracks can be effectively reduced, and the structural strength of the breast wall is improved.
