The invention discloses a three-way adjusting tool for mounting a steel stand column and a mounting method, and belongs to the field of steel stand column mounting devices.The three-way adjusting tool comprises a supporting platform, a first telescopic rod, a second telescopic rod and a limiting rod; the number of the supporting platforms is two. Through holes are formed in the supporting platforms; one supporting platform is fixedly provided with the first telescopic rod and the second telescopic rod, and the other supporting platform is connected with the telescopic end of the second telescopic rod. The telescopic direction of the first telescopic rod is the horizontal direction. The four first telescopic rods and the four second telescopic rods are circumferentially arranged with the through hole as the center. Compared with the prior art, the tool is arranged in the steel stand column for adjustment, and compared with traditional outer side adjustment, construction is safer. According to the tool, a full bolting mode is adopted, and an existing bolt hole installation tool of the steel stand column is used for position adjustment. According to the tool, the horizontal transverse and vertical position adjusting jacks are adopted for adjustment, and accurate adjustment of the posture, the elevation and the error quantity can be achieved.
