The invention discloses benzene ring-containing hyperbranched polyborosilazane converted amorphous SiBCN wave-absorbing ceramic and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of electromagnetic wave absorbing materials. The method comprises the following steps: injecting a borane dimethyl sulfide complex and methyl vinyl dichlorosilane into a Schlenk reaction flask under an ice bath condition, and reacting to obtain tri (dichloromethylsilyl ethyl) borane; then injecting reaction monomers, namely dichloromethylsilane and dichlorodiphenyl silane, into the reaction bottle, carrying out heating reaction, and cooling to obtain a hyperbranched polyborosilazane precursor containing a benzene ring; transferring the precursor into a high-temperature tube furnace for thermal crosslinking, then pressing the precursor into a blank, and regulating and controlling a high-temperature pyrolysis program to prepare the amorphous SiBCN wave-absorbing ceramic.
