The invention discloses a mechanical hole forming method for a rectangular anti-slide pile with a haunched horizontal cantilever capable of expanding and drilling, which comprises the following steps: combining a plurality of drilling machines to form a rectangular structure corresponding to the size of a rectangular pile hole; the multifunctional drilling assemblies on all the drilling machines are controlled to drill and excavate the stratum downwards to the designed elevation of the top of the haunching hole; vertical hydraulic cylinders on all the drilling machines are controlled to drive the multifunctional drilling assemblies to continue drilling the stratum downwards to the designed depth of the horizontal cantilever pile hole; a piston rod of the horizontal hydraulic cylinder extends to drive the multifunctional drill assembly to move laterally, and a piston rod of the vertical hydraulic cylinder extends to drive the multifunctional drill assembly to move downwards. A horizontal hydraulic cylinder is controlled to drive a multifunctional drill assembly to drill a horizontal cantilever pile hole outwards; and the multifunctional drilling assemblies on all the drilling machines are continuously controlled to drill the stratum downwards to the designed depth of the rectangular pile hole. The rectangular anti-slide pile drilling machine has the advantages that according to different sizes of rectangular pile holes, a corresponding number of drilling machines forming a rectangular structure are arranged on the rectangular anti-slide pile drilling machine so as to drill and dig the rectangular pile holes.
