The invention discloses a rope winder with a rope winding point translational motion in a sunshade product and a rope winding method.In the rope winder, a rope winding shaft assembly and a guide assembly are both located in a bracket assembly, the end of a pull rope penetrates through the bracket assembly and the guide assembly and then is fixed to the rope fixing end of the rope winding shaft assembly, and the rope winding shaft assembly rotates around the bracket assembly; the guide assembly is arranged on the rope winding shaft assembly in a sleeving mode and slides along the bracket assembly along with rotation of the rope winding shaft assembly. In the rope winding process, the rope winding shaft assembly and the rotary sliding block rotate, meanwhile, the rotary sliding block drives the translation sliding block to move in the length direction of the bracket assembly, and therefore the pull rope is wound around the rope winding shaft assembly, and meanwhile the position of a rope winding point translates synchronously. The rope winding shaft assembly does not need to move in the horizontal direction, so that the structural strength of the rope winding shaft assembly is enhanced, meanwhile, the positions of rope winding points can move uniformly, the rope outlet positions of the rope winding points are good in consistency, and it can be guaranteed that pull ropes are distributed on the rope winding shaft assembly more evenly.
