The invention relates to a polycyclic structure shrinkage reducing agent, an alkali-free liquid setting accelerator and a preparation method thereof, and the polycyclic structure shrinkage reducing agent comprises the following raw materials: fulvic acid, oleic acid alcohol amine, a catalyst and a polymerization inhibitor; the molar ratio of fulvic acid to oleic acid alcohol amine is 1: (1-3); the oleic acid alcohol amine comprises at least one of linoleyl alcohol ethanolamine, oleic acid triisopropanolamine, arachidonic acid ethanolamine and linoleic acid triisopropanolamine. The alkali-free liquid accelerator is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 5-10 parts of the polycyclic structure shrinkage reducing agent in any one of claims 1-4, 1-4 parts of a stabilizer, 30-60 parts of aluminum salt, 3-15 parts of alkylol amine and 20-30 parts of water.
