The invention relates to basalt fiber modified graphite tailing sand cement mortar and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of mortar preparation, graphite tailing sand is used for replacing part of natural sand to prepare the cement mortar, so that the solid waste graphite tailing sand is recycled and ecologically utilized, and the use of non-renewable resources is reduced; the basic mechanical property of the cement mortar is improved; meanwhile, the crack resistance is improved. Basalt fibers are doped into the concrete, so that the compression resistance, the breaking strength and the drying shrinkage performance are remarkably improved. The preparation method comprises the following components in parts by weight: 20-40 parts of cement, 0-30 parts of graphite tailing sand, 20-80 parts of standard sand, 0.1-0.3 part of basalt fiber, 5-20 parts of water and 0.1-0.3 part of a water reducing agent. According to the cement mortar disclosed by the invention, all the components are synergistically matched, so that the prepared cement mortar can have excellent mechanical strength and drying shrinkage performance.
