The mortar material comprises a mixed gel material, aggregate, an additive and water, the mixed gel material comprises slaked lime, white cement, limestone powder, silica fume and mineral powder; the aggregate comprises river sand; the additives comprise tung oil, silane, an early strength aid, an anti-mud agent and an expanding agent. The mixed gel material comprises slaked lime, white cement, heavy calcium powder, silica fume and mineral powder. The mortar material for repairing the historical building belongs to an artificial hydraulic lime mortar repairing material, is moderate in bonding strength, rapid in early strength development, good in compatibility with the historical building, close to the historical building in appearance, good in waterproof effect, good in durability and long in service life. The method is suitable for pointing repair and plastering repair of the historical building, does not cause secondary damage to the historical building when being applied to repair of the historical building, and meets the requirement for reversibility of the historical building.
