The invention provides a low-heat-conduction dip pipe and a preparation method thereof. The low-heat-conduction dip pipe comprises a steel liner, a pouring layer formed by pouring refractory material pouring materials is arranged outside the steel liner, refractory bricks are arranged inside the steel liner, a heat insulation plate is fixed to the outer wall of the part, used for being inserted into molten steel, of the lower portion of the steel liner, and the heat insulation plate is located in the pouring layer; a gap is formed between the inner wall of the steel liner and the refractory bricks, a low-heat-conduction pouring material is poured in the gap to form a low-heat-conduction pouring layer, and the low-heat-conduction pouring material is of a hollow structure. The heat insulation plate and the low-heat-conduction castable are adopted, so that the temperature of the steel liner is reduced, the thermal stress between the steel liner and the refractory material is reduced, and the service life of the dip pipe is prolonged.
