The invention discloses a pile sinking assisting device for a prefabricated pipe pile and a construction method.The device comprises a sinking assisting assembly, the sinking assisting assembly comprises a connecting assembly, a drill rod assembly, a driving box assembly, a reamer assembly and a main drill bit, one end of the connecting assembly is connected with one end of the drill rod assembly, and the other end of the connecting assembly is used for being connected with external equipment; the reamer assembly is connected with the driving box assembly, the driving box assembly arranged on the drill rod assembly in a sleeving mode is used for driving the reamer assembly to slide in the axial direction of the drill rod assembly, so that the reamer assembly is contained in a pipe hole of a prefabricated pipe pile or exposed out of the pipe hole of the prefabricated pipe pile, and the drill rod assembly is connected with the main drill bit. The main drill bit is used for drilling a stratum covered by a projection plane of an inner cavity of the prefabricated pipe pile, the reamer assembly is used for drilling a stratum on the outer side of the projection plane of the inner cavity of the prefabricated pipe pile, and therefore a drill hole with the outer diameter larger than that of the prefabricated pipe pile can be drilled through the main drill bit and the reamer bit. The diameter of the guide hole is larger than the outer diameter of the pile, and pile sinking resistance of a hard soil layer is greatly reduced or even eliminated.
