The invention discloses a vehicle-mounted intelligent road surface unevenness detection system based on an ultrasonic sensor. The acceleration sensor collects acceleration signals of the system in real time; the ultrasonic distance measuring sensor is used for collecting distance signals between the system and the road surface in real time; the main control MCU receives a real-time acceleration signal returned by the acceleration sensor and calculates a current pitch angle and a current roll angle of the system in combination with an angle algorithm; the main control MCU controls a horizontal position keeping module to adjust the position of the system in real time through a PID algorithm according to the roll angle, so that the system is stably kept at the horizontal position; and the main control MCU compensates the ground clearance data according to the pitch angle and the vertical acceleration so as to obtain road surface elevation data, thereby determining the road surface unevenness. According to the method, the steps of manual data acquisition and algorithm training are omitted, the labor cost is effectively reduced, and the development period is shortened.
