The invention discloses a steel tube arch bridge arch rib bracket-free section-by-section arch forming method which comprises the following steps: S1, hoisting each arch section to a mounting position, and temporarily consolidating two arch sections which are symmetrically arranged in the transverse bridge direction to form an arch rib unit Gi; s2, two adjacent arch rib units Gi are hinged in sequence; s3, a lifting device is connected with the arch rib unit Gi, meanwhile, a sliding support is arranged at the rear end of the arch rib unit Gi and the rear end of the arch rib unit Gi + 1, and a pushing device is arranged at the rear end of the arch rib unit Gi + 1; s4, the rear end of the arch rib unit Gi is lifted to the designed height by the lifting device, and the rear end of the arch rib unit Gi + 1 is synchronously pushed by the pushing device; s5, the hinged positions of the arch rib units Gi and the arch rib units Gi + 1 are welded and fixed; and S6, the lifting device is moved to the hinged position of the next arch rib unit, and the steps S3 to S5 are repeated till the arch rib is formed. The construction difficulty and risk and the construction cost of the arching stage can be reduced, and the method is suitable for arching construction of the large-rise and large-span arch bridge.
