The invention relates to a uranium nitride pellet manufacturing method, which comprises: carrying out hydrogenation dehydrogenation on metal uranium to prepare uranium powder, carrying out nitridation and denitrification on the uranium powder to prepare UN and U2N3 mixed powder, adding pure uranium, a uranium alloy or a uranium-containing compound having a melting point of less than 1700 DEG C to the mixed powder as a sintering aid, carrying out compression molding, and sintering at a temperature of 1700-1950 DEG C to obtain the uranium nitride pellet. By adopting the method, effective sintering of uranium nitride can be realized under normal pressure, the compact uranium nitride pellet is obtained, and the manufacturing process of the uranium nitride pellet is simplified.
一种氮化铀芯块制造方法,包括以下步骤:利用金属铀氢化脱氢制取铀粉体,对铀粉体进行氮化、脱氮制取UN与U2N3混合粉末,在混合粉末中加入熔点低于1700℃的纯铀、铀合金或含铀化合物作为烧结助剂,压制成型后在1700℃‑1950℃下烧结得到氮化铀芯块。采用该方法能够在常压下实现氮化铀的有效烧结,得到致密的氮化铀芯块,简化氮化铀芯块的制造工艺。
