The invention provides a composite modified asphalt mixture and a preparation method thereof, and aims to solve the technical problems that the pavement performance of an existing asphalt mixture is poor, and an asphalt pavement prepared from the asphalt mixture is poor in high and low temperature resistance and serious in water damage. The composite modified asphalt mixture is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 80 to 120 parts of mineral aggregate, 3 to 8 parts of asphalt, 0.08 to 0.15 part of nano boron nitride, 0.05 to 0.10 part of sepiolite fiber, 0.16 to 0.32 part of high styrene rubber and 0.002 to 0.009 part of coupling agent. The composite modified asphalt mixture provided by the invention belongs to an environment-friendly, non-toxic and non-corrosive composite asphalt mixture, has excellent pavement performance, can enhance the high-temperature stability, low-temperature crack resistance and water stability of an asphalt pavement, can prolong the service life of the asphalt pavement, and is wide in raw material source, non-toxic and harmless, free of pollution in the production process and low in price; and good economic benefits are achieved.
