The invention relates to the technical field of immersed tube tunnels, in particular to a large immersed tube in-dock steering and turning method which comprises the following steps: S1, filling water into a dry dock to float a large immersed tube, and carrying out large immersed tube mooring operation; s2, transversely moving the large immersed tube for the first time after the large immersed tube is provided with a cable, and moving the large immersed tube from a shallow dock area to a deep dock area steering position; s3, the large immersed tube is steered and moved at multiple different points in the deep dock area, cable adding, cable replacing and cable untying are carried out, and the turning-around operation of the large immersed tube is completed; and S4, the large immersed tube is transversely moved to the docking axis after turning around. Steering operation of multiple different point positions is carried out in the deep dock area, so that turning around of the large immersed tube in the deep dock area is completed under the condition that the deep dock area does not need to be excavated and enlarged, and the problem that when a conventional dry dock is constructed and designed, enough space is not reserved for the large immersed tube to steer in the dock is solved. And the steering of the large immersed tube in the dock is very difficult.
