The glaze with metallic luster is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 46-49% of SiO2; 10 to 13 percent of Al2O3; 3 to 5 percent of CaO; 1 to 3 percent of MgO; 5 to 7 percent of BaO; 1 to 3 percent of K2O; 0 to 2 percent of Na2O; 0 to 2 percent of Li2O; 6 to 8 percent of TiO2; 1 to 3 percent of Fe2O3; 2 to 4 percent of CuO; 7 to 9 percent of MnO2; 0 to 1 percent of Cr2O3; and 0-1% of CoO. By regulating and controlling the mass ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 and the content of the components CaO and MgO of the flux and introducing a proper amount of Li2O on the basis, the product can present soft iron gray metallic luster, is completely matched with a produced blank, and is high in thermal stability, resistant to acid and alkali, low in cost and suitable for large-scale production.
