The invention relates to the field of building material construction, and discloses a self-leveling gypsum construction device and a construction method.The self-leveling gypsum construction device comprises a moving mechanism which serves as a support of the whole device and can drive the device to move; the storage mechanism is used for storing gypsum mortar, the storage mechanism is arranged on the upper side of the moving mechanism, and a stirring assembly is arranged in the storage mechanism; the quantitative discharging mechanism is used for performing quantitative discharging on the gypsum mortar stored in the storage mechanism, the quantitative discharging mechanism comprises a piston seat, the piston seat is communicated with the storage mechanism through a first one-way valve, and an inner cavity of the piston seat is slidably connected with a piston block; the driving mechanism is used for linkage driving of the whole device; and the trowelling mechanism is used for trowelling the gypsum mortar flowing out through the discharging head, and the trowelling mechanism is arranged on the bottom side of the moving mechanism. The automatic function of the device can reduce the requirement for manual operation, so that the labor cost is reduced, and the construction efficiency is improved.
