The invention belongs to the technical field of constructional engineering construction, and discloses an inspection well construction method, which comprises the following steps of: performing survey lofting on a preset position of an inspection well, and determining a shutdown position of a shield tunneling machine according to the preset position of the inspection well; a pipeline is excavated through the shield tunneling machine, the shield tunneling machine is pushed to the preset position of the inspection well and then shut down, equipment in the shield tunneling machine is dismantled, and then a blocking wall is constructed to block and seal a shell of the shield tunneling machine; the pipe rocking machine is positioned on the ground, the steel sleeve is rotationally sunk to the position above the shell of the shield tunneling machine through the pipe rocking machine, and the steel sleeve and the shell of the shield tunneling machine are welded; soil in the steel sleeve is removed, and a hole is cut in the joint of the steel sleeve and a shell of the shield tunneling machine, so that the steel sleeve is communicated with the interior of the shell of the shield tunneling machine; and an inspection well is built in the steel sleeve. According to the inspection well construction method, large-area excavation of a foundation pit is not needed, construction of the inspection well is achieved under the environment that the site width is limited, and disturbance to the periphery is small.
