The invention relates to the technical field of building roofs, and provides a roof cooling system which comprises a roof base layer, and the roof base layer is sequentially provided with a first waterproof layer, a cooling layer, a second waterproof layer and a supporting layer from top to bottom; a plurality of cooling pipes are arranged in the cooling layer, the cooling pipes are connected end to end and arranged in a snake shape, and the cooling pipes located at the tail end and the head end respectively are connected with an external water circulation system. According to the roof cooling system, the multiple cooling pipes communicating in sequence are arranged in the cooling layer, heat entering the roof base layer can be absorbed, water can be repeatedly utilized through the water circulation system, and therefore the loss of water resources is reduced while the roof is cooled.
