The invention discloses a warning device for a highway road bridge. The warning device comprises a supporting rod. The fixing rod is connected to the top end of the supporting rod, the base is connected to the outer wall of the upper end, away from the supporting rod, of the fixing rod, the protective cover is installed on the base, the warning lamp bulb used for warning is installed on the top of the inner wall of the protective cover, and multiple sets of first heat dissipation holes are formed in the base along a center array. A driving assembly is arranged at the tail end, close to the supporting rod, of the fixing rod, a scraping assembly is slidably arranged in the protection cover, the scraping assembly and the driving assembly are in transmission connection through a transmission assembly, and the transmission assembly is arranged on the fixing rod. During use, a driving rod rotates to enable a driving assembly to drive a transmission assembly to rotate, the transmission assembly rotates to extrude and inject water in a water storage cavity into a first air bag point by point through cooperation with a first connecting pipe, and then a second collecting ring is pushed to move upwards on the inner wall of the protective cover to scrape and clean water vapor on the inner wall of the protective cover; and the water vapor is prevented from influencing the light penetration rate.
