The invention discloses a cast-in-place box culvert foundation pit construction method, which belongs to the field of cast-in-place box culvert construction, and comprises the following steps that a construction area is leveled, the height of a stacked object within a range of 3 meters away from the edge of a foundation pit is not more than 1.5 meters, an intercepting ditch is arranged outside the foundation pit, and the gradient of a side slope outside the foundation pit is controlled; first steel sheet piles are driven to form a water retaining cofferdam outside the foundation pit; then, second steel sheet piles are driven along the foundation pit; the foundation pit is excavated to the elevation in a layered mode, and each layer is excavated, one layer of inner support construction support is correspondingly arranged; a foundation cushion layer is arranged at the bottom of the foundation pit, then cast-in-place box culvert operation is conducted, a cast-in-place box culvert is divided into an upper layer and a lower layer, after lower layer pouring is completed, partial backfilling is conducted, a corresponding layer support is dismantled, and then upper layer pouring operation is conducted; and after pouring is completed, backfilling is conducted layer by layer, supports are dismantled layer by layer, and finally the first steel sheet piles and the second steel sheet piles are dismantled.
