The invention discloses foam carbon for a graphitization furnace thermal insulation material and a preparation method thereof.The preparation method comprises the steps that firstly, electrode fine powder and perlite are added into medium-temperature asphalt or high-softening-point asphalt, the mixture is sufficiently mixed and kneaded in a mixing and kneading pot to obtain a mixed material, and then the mixed material is subjected to pressure forming through a mold to obtain a formed material; pre-heating the formed material, and removing moisture to obtain a pre-treated material; and carrying out foaming expansion secondary molding on the pretreated material to obtain the foam carbon for the graphitization furnace thermal insulation material. The foam carbon for the graphitization furnace thermal insulation material has a porous structure, is better in thermal insulation performance, is easy to process, and is more suitable for being used as the graphitization furnace thermal insulation material.
本发明公开了一种石墨化炉保温材料用泡沫炭及其制备方法,首先向中温沥青或高软化点沥青中加入电极细粉、珍珠岩后,在混捏锅充分混捏得到混合物料,然后混合物料经模具加压成型得到成型料;该成型料经预热处理后去除水分得到预处理料;之后预处理料经发泡膨胀二次成型得到石墨化炉保温材料用泡沫炭。该石墨化炉保温材料用泡沫炭具有多孔结构,保温性能更好,且易于加工,更适合作为石墨化炉的保温材料使用。
