The cover body is rotationally connected with the body and can seal the opening; the winding piece is arranged in the accommodating cavity; and the buoyancy wire is wound on the winding piece and sequentially penetrates through the wire passing hole and the through hole. According to the water surface cleaning device provided by the invention, the buoyancy wire rod is wound on the wire winding piece, so that the buoyancy wire rod can control the length of the buoyancy wire rod extending out of the body as required, and meanwhile, the space of the cover body is fully utilized to realize storage of the buoyancy wire rod, so that the space in the body is more compact.
