The invention discloses a vehicle door obstacle detection system. The vehicle door obstacle detection system comprises a door frame, a door body, a first connecting component and a second connecting component, wherein the first end of the first connecting component is connected with the door frame; the first end of the second connecting component is connected with the door body; the device further comprises a friction sensing module, the friction sensing module comprises a first sensor and a second sensor, the first sensor makes contact with the second sensor, the first sensor is connected with the second end of the first connecting component, and the second sensor is connected with the second end of the second connecting component. The friction sensing module is used for acquiring friction force information between the first sensor and the second sensor; the friction force information is used for representing whether obstacles exist between the door frame and the door body.
