The invention discloses a method for modifying reinforced fibers. The method comprises the following steps: S1, cleaning the surfaces of the fibers; s2, activating the coupling agent gasified under a vacuum condition by adopting plasma, so that the coupling agent is subjected to vapor deposition on the surface of the fiber, and the fiber with a coupling agent layer is obtained; and S3, applying an impregnating compound containing a film-forming agent to the surface of the coupling agent layer of the fiber obtained in the S2, and drying to obtain a reinforced fiber finished product with a resin modified layer. According to the modification method of the reinforced fiber, coupling agent plasma vapor deposition is carried out on the surface of the fiber, a compact and uniform coupling agent layer is formed on the surface of the fiber, sites of reaction between the surface of the fiber and a subsequent impregnating compound are increased, and sufficient reaction of a film-forming agent and other impregnating compound components on the surface of the fiber is promoted to form a tightly-attached resin modification layer. The invention also discloses a reinforced fiber and a composite material containing the reinforced fiber.
