The invention belongs to the technical field of building decoration materials, and particularly relates to a polyethylene flame-retardant composite material. The composite material comprises a UV layer which is sequentially connected from top to bottom, wherein the UV layer is prepared from the following raw materials: polymer resin, a carbonizing agent and ammonium polyphosphate subjected to nano silicon dioxide surface treatment; the SPC layer is prepared from the following raw materials: polyethylene resin, stone powder, a plasticizer and a microencapsulated red phosphorus flame retardant; the WPC layer is prepared from the following raw materials: polyethylene resin, plant fibers, stone powder and a phosphate flame-retardant plasticizer. According to the composite material, the UV layer, the SPC layer and the WPC layer are arranged in a laminated manner, and the preparation raw materials of the layers are adjusted, so that oxygen and temperature can be rapidly prevented from being transmitted into the composite material, a window period is provided for fire escape, and the overall flame-retardant effect of the product is better.
