The invention relates to the technical field of river channel cleaning, in particular to a river channel dredging method which comprises the following steps: acquiring various parameters of a river channel and a to-be-dredged part; arranging a plurality of desilting devices at each desilting target position; determining the concentration ratio of aerobic bacteria to anaerobic bacteria in the sludge sample; working parameters of the dredging device are determined according to the water flow speed of the corresponding position and the concentration ratio; the river water suspension turbidity of the desilting target position is obtained, and the sludge deposition speed of the desilting target position is calculated according to the suspension turbidity and the water flow speed; according to the silt deposition speed of each desilting target position, determining an adjustment mode of a desilting device; while the dredging effect is effectively guaranteed, damage to a riverbed in the dredging process is avoided, the riverway is continuously cleaned, and the phenomenon that the riverway is silted again can be avoided.
