The invention belongs to the field of fenders, and relates to a hydrodynamic power generation type fender which comprises a buffer block made of rubber, and a containing cavity is formed in the buffer block. A water injection hole and a water drainage hole are respectively formed in the buffer block; two telescopic assemblies and a water turbine assembly located between the two telescopic assemblies are arranged in the containing cavity. The two telescopic assemblies can stretch out and draw back in the impact direction. The two telescopic assemblies and the hydraulic turbine set divide the containing cavity into an upper cavity and a lower cavity which are arranged up and down. The water turbine assembly includes: a housing block; the water injection hole is opened and closed in the buffer block through the water injection assembly; drainage holes are opened and closed in the buffer blocks through drainage assemblies; the buffer block is installed on the wharf through the chain, the pin and the water injection assembly. The impeller generates power through the electromagnetic induction assembly. The gear can be avoided, and the draft depth of the buffer block can be changed.
