The invention discloses a spatial position adjusting device and method for butt-joint piers of an assembled pedestrian overpass. The spatial position adjusting device comprises a lower jacking device, a middle fixing platform and an upper rotary clamping device. The lower jacking device is arranged on the outer side of the bridge pier in a sleeving mode, the bottom of the middle fixing platform is fixed to the lower jacking device, and then the upper rotary clamping device is connected to the middle fixing platform; the lower jacking device drives the middle fixing platform and the upper rotary clamping device to be jacked upwards to the top of the bridge pier, and the upper rotary clamping device clamps and assembles the connecting part of the pedestrian bridge and positions and installs the connecting part on the top of the bridge pier. The adjusting device is arranged and used for conducting accurate butt joint on the assembled pedestrian overpass and the bridge piers, the effects of accuracy and high speed are achieved, the installation efficiency is improved, the installation accuracy is guaranteed, meanwhile, manual adjustment by constructors is not needed, installation hidden dangers are eliminated, and therefore the problem that butt joint between the assembled pedestrian overpass and the bridge piers is difficult is solved.
