During water taking, water flow in the culvert enters the rotary sedimentation tank after passing through the communicating hole, then enters the water taking well after passing through the rectifying middle-layer partition plate and then is pumped into a downstream pipeline through the submersible water taking pump to be sent to a user side, and solid precipitates of the water flow in the rotary sedimentation tank are discharged into the culvert through the sewage discharging hole. The water intake well in the water intake structure is located beside the culvert, and due to the fact that the water intake well is small in occupied area, the occupied area is reduced in a mode of changing space into area.
