The invention provides a planting container with ceramic inside and aluminum outside and a manufacturing process of the planting container, relates to the technical field of planting equipment, and aims to solve the problem that an existing planting container cannot effectively store water. The planting container with the ceramic inside and the aluminum outside comprises a pot body and a protective aluminum shell, the pot body is provided with a planting cavity and a top opening communicated with the planting cavity, the protective aluminum shell wraps the outer surface of the pot body and the top face of the pot body, and the protective aluminum shell extends into the planting cavity from the top opening to wrap part of the inner surface of the pot body; the planting cavity is used for containing planting soil, and the planting soil at least partially covers the part, extending into the planting cavity, of the protective aluminum shell; and the pot body is made of a pottery clay mixture. The planting container not only can absorb and store water and improve the air permeability of soil, but also can prevent water evaporation and reduce the loss speed of water so as to further guarantee the water storage capacity, thereby solving the technical problem that the planting container in the prior art cannot effectively store water.
