The invention relates to an admixture for a mineral binder composition, in particular for concrete, comprising or consisting of: a) at least one kinetic modulator selected from esters of hydroxycarboxylic acids, in particular citric acid esters, tartaric acid esters, lactic acid esters, gluconic acid esters, malate esters, glycolate esters and/or mandelic acid esters, and b) at least one additive selected from among esters of hydroxycarboxylic acids, in particular citric acid esters, tartaric acid esters, lactic acid esters, gluconic acid esters, malate esters, glycolate esters and/or mandelic acid esters; b) optionally an accelerator for cement hydration, and c) optionally water. The admixture of the present invention reduces the maximum heat flow from mineral binder compositions, in particular concrete, without excessively delaying its setting and/or curing.
