The invention relates to sealing slurry and a preparation method thereof, and a composite ceramic substrate and a preparation method thereof. The sealing slurry comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 70%-78.5% of a network forming agent; 1.5%-5% of a nucleating agent; 2%-7% of a regulator; the sum of the network forming agent, the nucleating agent and the regulator is 77-82%; 0.03% to 0.35% of a toughening agent; 0.3%-1.5% of a curing agent; 17%-21% of a solvent or a diluent; after coating the sealing slurry, sintering, discharging water, discharging glue and crystallizing to form a beta-eucryptite microcrystalline phase; and the expansion coefficient of the beta-eucryptite microcrystalline phase is-9.1 * 10 <-6 > to-0.8 * 10 <-6 >/K. The technical problem to be solved by the invention is how to provide the sealing slurry, so that a composite ceramic substrate sealed by using the sealing slurry is not easy to crack a sealing material and is high in percent of pass, thereby being more suitable for application.
