The invention discloses a lightweight thermal-insulation water-resistant magnesium oxysulfate board which is prepared by coating slurry and then lagging foaming, and the slurry comprises the following components in parts by mass: 100 parts of magnesium oxide, 100-150 parts of a magnesium sulfate aqueous solution, 5-10 parts of magnesium whiskers, 15-35 parts of lightweight filler, 1-3 parts of a waterproof agent, 2-5 parts of fibers, 4-8 parts of a curing modifier and 2-8 parts of a protein foaming agent; the light filler comprises aerogel powder and/or rice husks; the waterproof agent is sodium silicate and/or potassium silicate; the curing modifier comprises organic acid and ferrous sulfate. The lightweight thermal-insulation water-resistant magnesium oxysulfate board not only has good fire resistance, pressure resistance and wear resistance, but also is light in weight and excellent in water resistance, and the obtained magnesium oxysulfate board is widely applied to the fields of lightweight wallboards, fire-resistant components, thermal-insulation boards and ventilation pipelines of the lightweight wallboards, the fire-resistant components, the thermal-insulation boards and the ventilation pipelines of the thermal-insulation boards.
